Doujinshi
Currently, I am looking for a translator to translate scanned doujinshi from Japanese to English (aka 'scanlations'). If you're interested, or know of someone I can ask, please email me. ^_^
If you're seeking doujinshi to purchase, the best place I know is eBay.com . Be warned that even though 'doujinshi' means 'art circle' / fan comic books, most sites sell 'hentai doujinshi' (which is basically rated 'R' or 'X' doujinshi, and may contain sex / graphic images.) Most Shitennou doujinshi that I have seen for sale are yaoi (which means boy x boy), with only a few which are normal romance. *Another note: most if not all doujinshi will be second-hand, not brand new. I have yet to find a site that sells brand new doujinshi. Non-auction sites include:
The Sailor Moon Doujinshi Database is a site with a myriad/index of doujinshi titles; it also has links to sites that sell doujinshi too, but most are in Japanese. This site does not contain scans, and its summaries are extremely brief. Because of that, I will strive to have better summaries of the doujinshi in my collection. I will also list doujinshi that I have knowledge of (this means, I don't have those doujinshi to scan; ie, I might have seen them on eBay but I didn't buy them). I have a few available for purchase as well, but my selling site is SMIsLE and I won't bog you down with details here.
